At Charm Clinic we use a hybrid formulation combining PDLLA (Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid) and hyaluronic acid, listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. Collagen Volume Skin Booster uses the same PDLLA and hyaluronic acid formulation as our standard collagen skin booster, in a higher concentration. It is commonly used in areas where deeper collagen stimulation is the treatment goal, such as the cheeks, temples and jawline area. Like the standard formula, it works by stimulating the skin's own collagen response over time. The hyaluronic acid component provides immediate hydration, while the PDLLA works gradually over the following weeks and months. A course of treatments is typically recommended. Your practitioner will advise on the appropriate formula, number of sessions, and treatment interval based on your individual assessment at consultation.
